Upcoming Comprehensive Group Adult Buteyko & Orofacial Myofunctional Exercise Class - $1,400 in Summer 2026
Natalia Plaza, COM® has been teaching unique ongoing Buteyko & orofacial myology virtual classes since June 2022
In this class you will learn about how to correct or improve function of tethered oral tissue (tongue ties, lip ties and buccal ties), snoring, open mouth posture, bruxism, obstructive sleep apnea, tongue thrusts and more. By teaching in a group format, the cost can significantly be lowered for each client, and you can begin to overcome some of the basic obstacles to treatment.
This comprehensive 8 week course is limited to 8 people per class (June dateTBD)
Enrollment is to bepaid in full. This is not covered by insurance. This class is valued at over $1,800.

ASSESSMENTS & CONSULTATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED two weeks before the class begins. THIS IS A TWO STEP PROCESS. PLEASE MIND OF YOUR TIMING & COMPLETE THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
This class has TWO NEW teaching points:
1. An individualized consultation with Natalia Plaza, COM® & Buteyko Breathing Method instructor
2. 8 virtual orofacial myology and Buteyko Breathing Method group exercise classes
3. An exercise tool kit
4. Video instructions and PDFs for each exercise set with access for 1 full year.
5. Class recordings for review of discussion and concepts with access for 1 full year.
6. Live Q & A with a functional dentist, Osteopath or functional medicine practitioner depending on availability.
7. Brief weekly lectures on cutting edge and functional topics about dentistry, breathing and orofacial myology.
8.*NEW* A weekly office hour when Natalia reviews any necessary exercises and answers any questions you might have.
9.*NEW* pertinent information on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbology.
Accountability: You will be expected to complete exercises 3x/day on your own outside of class times for the active 8 weeks.
Independent exercise sessions can run between 10-15 minutes depending on one’s level of muscular control.
YOU MUST ABIDE BY THE PRE-PLANNED CLASS SCHEDULE once it is set.
No personal arrangements will be made to the schedule, as you will progress as a cohort.

July 21 - class 6 (pre-op check for those who need releases)
July 28 - class 7 (post-op for those who need releases)
Aug 4- class 8, FINAL CLASS.

*VERY IMPORTANT: There will be no makeup classes as the name of the game is neuroplasticity, which is the process of creating new neural pathways for long lasting correct motor output, passive function and deep integration, and so, repeating and building upon previous exercises is essential.If you need additional sessions these will be private sessions with Natalia and fee for service.

Meet your teacher, Natalia Plaza, COM®, certified Buteyko Breathing Method Instructor & Orofacial Myologist
Natalia is a certified orofacial myologist (COM®), Buteyko Breathing Method instructor, doctoral student and a guest speaker with a wide variety of training in Buteyko, orofacial myology, Quantum ALF, cranial osteopathy ALF Approach, Froggymouth, Liper Device, Fotona laser therapy, dental hygiene, acupuncture, Chinese herbology, cranial nerve testing and retained reflexes from premiere institutions and teachers across the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Natalia completed her post-graduate training with Buteyko Clinic International, the International Association of Orofacial Myology, the Academy of Myofunctional Therapy, the Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration - MNRI® Method, all three levels of Quantum ALF courses at the ALF Educational Institute (AEI), AEI’s Photobiomodulation (laser) course in 2022, and the ALF Approach with Dr. Tasha Turzo in 2023. Natalia focuses on augmenting cranial motion by restoring correct orofacial myofunction, autonomic toning and breathing patterns in patients undergoing functional dental treatment and/or those with tethered oral tissues and dysfunctional breathing, often combining methods to create comprehensive treatment plans to address the client’s unique needs.
Currently, she is enrolled full-time in a doctoral program for Traditional Medicine, specializing in Herbology at Southern California University of Health Sciences. Natalia received her dental hygiene degree in 2010, Cum Laude, from Daytona State College, and she actively holds RDH licensure in the states of New York and California and has several professional memberships.
